Did you know 'Malas' are a physical representation of God?🤔

As we chant the name of God, it starts to vibrate with the energy of the mantra. As the Name of God and God Himself are one and the same, the mala becomes a physical representation of God.

This makes it important to treat it with respect. Do not take it into the bathroom, leave it on the floor, or touch your feet. Just like we chant our japa with love, we should treat our mala with love as well.

When we chant on the mala, the energy from our japa also helps us in our practice. It supports us to go deeper into our practice the next time. The mala helps us to focus on the Divine as well. This is because the mind follows the body. When your hand is counting on your mala, it helps you put your mind there as well. The mala is then both a physical representation of God and a tool to help you on your path to God. (Original Post)
