Hello there, beautiful people!

It’s been a while since we all got a chance to travel or take some holiday, isn’t it? And everyone got creative in the kitchen at least once during lockdown, right?  I know I made many new recipes and tried new techniques. That’s actually how I started to make these videos for you to see. 

Recently, I had an amazing chance to visit my family and friends in Turkey. Right now, I am here enjoying beautiful weather, company of amazing people, and, of course, delicious food! Before you get excited I will be writing more about this trip next month. The reason is that I would like to prepare some really nice cooking videos for you in the hope that you can have a taste of Turkish cuisine wherever you are. Any interest in that? I imagine a few people nodding their heads. Good. It means we are on the same page. 

Today I want to share with you these amazing raw, gluten-free, vegan energy bites. It sounds really healthy yes, but it is even more delicious than you can ever imagine. Why this recipe? 

It is so easy, fast, healthy, and tasty. They make the most incredible travel snack. Yep, you heard me right. You can easily take this with you on your next trip - be it around the house, the block, or farther away. Just remember to maintain social distance while you’re at it. I hope you all find an excuse to try this recipe and enjoy some delicious treats.


 


Dates & Cacao Energy Bites Recipe

  • 20 dates without seeds
  • A handful almond
  • 1 tbsp cacao  
  • Half a teaspoon coconut oil
  • 5-6 drops vanilla
  • Coconut flakes
  1. Place everything except the coconut flakes into a food processor and process until everything is well combined

  2. Use your hands to roll them into small balls

  3. Roll in coconut flakes

  4. Share and enjoy!!!
